Wedding Pavilion Rehab Dates - 2009

Hi all -

We just got word that the revised rehab dates for the Wedding Pavilion are July 19, 2009 through July 29, 2009.

I hope this doesn't affect to many of your plans.

do you know where we can find out what they are doing to the wedding pavillion? my wedding isn't til april 2010 but i'm curious!

In a 10-day rehab, I'd bet it's just a cosmetic refresher!

Cool! It will be nice and fresh for my December 2009 wedding!! I feel bad for the brides during that time frame though! Hopefully it won't interfer. I will keep my fingers cross!!

Has anybody heard anything about this recently? Now that many July brides are booked or getting ready to sign at the 8 month mark, did the coordinators or planners say anything to you?

Wow we barely make it in before the rehab--- I had originally heard it was getting new carpet!?

It needs it IMHO. That carpet rarely doesn't clash with the colors of a wedding. My dream come true would be if they completely lifted it and left hardwood floor. That way if you want a simple aisle runner you can do that or if you want flowers or more, you can do that, too.

I agree! But if they are doing new carpet maybe a more neutral color? hmmm... i wonder how we can find out.

That's a good point! I didn't think of that! I'm a major klutz, I don't think it would surprise anyone if I tripped going down the aisle!

We are having a July 31, 2009 wedding and Pam our wedding coordinator did tell us there would be a rehab just finishing. She said it is all cosmetic, and they give themselves a huge buffer to ensure the dates will be ok for all disney brides! I believe new carpeting and paint...etc.
