We are having a 9:00 am wedding at Epcot followed by our reception, which will end at 2:00. DF and I want to have a dinner for the two of us, but we're not sure which restaurant is special enough. Any suggestions??

Thanks! :thumbsup2

a very nice and fancy and private restaurant would be victoria and alberts it is black tie only and you can have the chefs table and they custom make your nemu yum yum

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I think V&A's would be a great choice too.

If you want to go in another direction, you could do something simple that you'll easily be able to continue as an anniversary tradition. Maybe you could pick up some sandwiches or gourmet food items and a bottle of wine and have a picnic...out somewhere, or back in your hotel room. Or...you could have ice cream sundaes for dinner.

I know that we went to a very nice Inn the night of our wedding that served gourmet meals. We were so tired we couldn't really enjoy the food. An ice cream sundae, or a sandwich would probably have suited our needs better.

You could go to the California Grill. Request a table that has a great view of the MK. You can have dinner and watch Wishes.

What resort are you staying at for your honeymoon? Perhaps a private dining event in your room or somewhere around the resort? I think that would be romantic, special, and just what you need after a long day. They can set it up on your balcony if you want to stay in and you have a private butler.

I think you can't go wrong with the California Grille - the setting is just so magical, especially if you get a castle view for the fireworks... :thumbsup2

We had a 9 am wedding too and we went to the California Grill we nicely asked for the table to watch wishes but it didnt work so we went outside, its a beautiful place though and the service was great. best wishes

Thanks for all of your help! We will be staying in the Grand Floridian on our wedding night so it will be easy enough to get to the California Grill. Is there a dress code? I think that I'll probably be annoyed with the wedding dress by the time we get around to dinner!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Last year our ceremony was at 3:00 (we had an Intimate) and by 6:00 we were completely done and I was ready to be out of my dress and tiara (it was killing my head!). DH and I planned a private dinner in our room. It was terribly romantic, so nice to just be by ourselves, we ended up snacking on the food all night!
