Hi everyone

My fiance and I are getting married at Cypress Grove at the end of August 2011, there will just be the 2 of us as we want to avoid the usual wedding politics then have a great party with friends and family once we return home.

We are getting married at 3pm and I suspect we will be back in resort between 5 and 6pm (we will be staying at POR) this is where I need some help...

I have a loose plan in mind and wondered if others could give me some input as to whether this would be nice...

after the wedding our limo would drop us off at Grand Floridian as i thought drinks at the Mizner lounge may be nice, i have never been there, do people recommend it?

after the Mizner bar, i thought we could head to the California Grill lounge at Contemporary resort before heading for dinner at the Grill. We would like to be in the Grill for Wishes so i am thinking an 8pm ADR however i have read some horror stories about poor service and 2 hour waits despite haviing ADRs so im a bit worried

I would really like us to be able to have a nice seat and something special at our meal seen as its our wedding night, would i ring the Californina Grill to discuss this or just speak to guest services when we check in?

Also will it be okay for my fiance (who will then be mu husband :) ) to wear his suit and me my dress, my dress will be modest but will be noticanly a bridal dress

thank you in advance for your help everyone! :lovestruc

We ate at Calli Grill on our wedding night ( I am updating my trip report tonight with that infact!) I wore my dress, DH wore his suite, we danced to Wishes, it was wonderful!

I would tell the castmember that is helping you make your ADRs so that it will be known before you get there that it is your wedding night dinner, that may help avoid any issues!

oh that sounds lovely! It broought a tear to my eye! I cant wait to read your report, congratulations xxx

I think Cali Grill has a "sweetheart" dinner, another bride here, Wish on a Star, did it after her ceremony.
