Are they still going to have the old style ears when I'm in WDW in Feb-or should I just ebay it...Who ever thought the new style was a good idea was sadly mistaking... JMHO

Which ears are you talking about? I was just in Epcot around Dec. 18th and we bought the top hat mickey ears for DF and the headband ears with the veil for me. The lady working there said they switch them out every few months so sometimes they have the top hats and sometimes they have the mickey hat with the tuxedo on top.

Here's a pic of us with the headband I bought, but we did not get this hat for DF, that's the replacement for the top hat

I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get the top hat either so I ordered them through wdw merchandise. I did it through e-mail ~ wdw.mail.order@disneyworld.com

I was just at WDW for a few days in Dec.* I was able to find plenty of old bride ears (headband w sequins) but only saw a couple of the old groom ears (top hat style).* I picked up both because I was nervous that they would discontinue them completely before my wedding.* Hopefully they will still be there in Feb but if you'll be heartbroken without them I would look into some of the ways listed above.* You probably have a better chance of being able to get the bride ears than the top hat.* Good luck!

I just need the wedding ears. I PROMISED DF he wouldn't have to wear the ears. However, I might make him a baseball hat ala Lurkyloo for him to have something fun. No pressure tho...He's not a huge fan of the hat.
Me on the other hand...I'M GETTING THE EARS...ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!

I was just there and they had both sets of bride and groom ears. I actually bought them before we got engaged. (by only a few hours). I was worried that before I got married the headband and groom hat would be gone, and those were the ones that DF and I liked. The CM at the MK hat shop weren't sure if they were phasing out the old ones. I bought the last headband they had and they had a few hats left. (I was there 12/28-1/4) I did see headbands around but the top hats seemed to be a bit harder to find.

we were there 12/16-12/24 and found plenty of the old headband style bride ears. Wish i would have known...i paid for expedited shipping on ebay the week before the wedding because i thought they had been discontinued! lol

EBay has some really cute ones for sale too from Japan, that I bought! They are black Minney ears, with a veil and a pink bow on each ear.

Ok, shoot..now I'm panicing (sp?)

I thought with 5 days to have to get them before our wedding, we wouldn't have a problem...

now I'm worried...are you guys saying we should order them any way we can just in case? We're driving down, so I don't have to worry about the hat getting crushed or anything..

Darn. We probably just should have bought them when we were there in Oct!! And I had thought that too, but thought.."Nyah, there'll be plenty in April!"

I saw those too!! They were really cute. At least you will be different and nobody else will have them in the parks...well maybe a few others?

I bought DF the top hat but it just didn't fit on his head the right way so he bought a visor that is "his style" and I am going to fix them up with the ears. I will post pics.

it sounds like they might have plenty. I'm going to wait and get them in Feb. You can always order them from WDW Merchandising.
