This is the dress I have fallen in love with. It is the Capri Lynette by Maggie Sottero. I'm off to our local stockist tomorrow to see if they have one I can look at. I'm not keen on the strapless as they give me a muffin-top on my back and I need something a bit higher on the back to help cover my tattoo.

Thats the dress I am in love with too!!! I like you am not too keen on the strapless dresses. So I always thought like a halter with a deep V neck but I LOVE this sweetheart neckline!!! I am not ready to go look at dresses though. I have a little longer to wait than you do. Defintly PM me to let me know how it looks in person!!!

Everyone, I would like to introduce you to my new baby. Her name is Maggie Sottero Capri Royale...

She will be with me in about 8 months (which is why it feels like a baby) and I bought her yesterday.

I have never, ever put on something that looked so good and felt so perfect. I am thinking of having the train removed so that it is a proper 'Belle' dress. The problem with these pictures is that all the models are about 8 feet tall - there was a huge amount of train at the back and the back of the dress came much higher than the picture. One of the things putting me off this dress was how low the back was on the picture. I have a large tattoo that I want to cover.

I am totally in love with this dress! I couldn't find a stockist that had the Lynette (see my post a little further back) so tried this on to see if the pick-up style suited me and the rest is history...

Hi Topsy, not sure about Davids Bridal shipping to the UK but I did a load of sums before I decided to get my dress from a shop.

You have to take into account that you will be charged 12% duty on the cost of the items AND the delivery charge, and then 17.5% VAT on top of that. When you consider that you will probably need a seamstress to make alterations too it doesn't work out as cheaply as it seems.

If I had bought my dress from the internet, paid the duty and VAT, seamstress, special ph-neutral box to store it in etc it would have been about £50 less than going to the shop.

The other thing is - haggle!! I got quite a bit taken off the price, alterations included in the storage fee of £25 and a free tiara of my choice. The one I loked was £225 and they honoured it. Well worth asking and haggling!!

I would have a hardtime picking one of thoughs dresses out also. But I really like the Pink Gown it's beautiful and my second choice would be the red one. I just love the colors of them both. Whenever choic you make they are all going to be beautiful..

Your very welcome. I would of chosen the pink one myself. But you have to choose what you like and what you feel good in on your special day. I know when I went to try on dresses I was so overwelmed. But the dress I picked was the first one I tried on. They are all beautiful dresses you have picked out. You have to post the one you officially pick out I would love to see it on you. Either way your going to be happy on your special day.

I got my dress last week and I picked it up Yesterday! I LOVE IT! I am getting married on Castaway Cay and I didn't want anything heavy, but I still wanted princess-y and elegant since we are having a Magic Kingdom Photo Shoot the first day of our Honeymoon! Here is my Dress:
