Here is a pic of my wife in her wedding gown, the pic was taken on Castaway Cay. We renewed our vows last week, she had the dress shortened for the beach wedding, everyone one board loved the idea...

I love it! That's such a great idea, very unique!

i've had my dress since june...but finally tried it on the other day...please excuse the self photo, nobody was home when i tried it on so i had no choice! and i had to try it on w/o a bra since i couldn't fasten all the hooks by myself! i'm going for my first fitting this week...i've been having second thoughts about this dress, thinking that i made the wrong decision, but i think i've come to the conclusion that i really do love the dress, but just feel self conscious in it, especially around the shoulder/arm/chest/back area. whew, that's a lot of areas! anyway, just thought i'd share since i've loved looking at everyone else's beautiful dresses on here

Oh Oh Oh!!!! That's MY dress too!! I love it. I have mine sitting in my future mother in laws house and i'm dying to put it on! It looks amazing on you!

I posted the David's Bridal pic of my dress a while ago, but here's a pic of me in the dress. I've been doing Weight Watchers and have lost 20lbs, but i still have a good ways to go before the big day (1/5/08), but I have lost enough to fit into my dress (it was ordered 2 sizes smaller)

Thanks so much. I'm hoping to drop another 40 pounds before my wedding date **fingers crossed** This dress is one that my consultant brought me and I refused to try on at first. She convinced me too and it turned out to be "the one"

Aww thanks so much. I've worked hard to be able to fit into it and still have a good ways to go, but it's getting there!! I feel the dress has a slimming effect and is great for plus size women (the dress is a size 14). I literally was FORCED to try this dress on....I turned to see it in the mirror and **tears** It was a great moment and I'm happy with the dress!!

Yay I can finally post in this thread! I went and put my deposit down yesterday after taking a month away from dress shopping to clear my head and be sure I was making the right decision. I love this dress so much, it's so detailed but is as light and comfy as a cotton summer dress. I'm having the back changed to a lace up/corset style and the top is being converted to a v-neck halter as I wasn't comfortable having all that skin on show!!

I am also finally able to share the vow renewal dress I picked out and purchased Carolyn Allen will definitely be needed to make it wrinkle free - unlike now

Just wanted to subscribe to this thread. I love wedding dresses. I was married in 2006. It wasn't a Disney wedding so I don't know if I'm supposed to post photos of my dress or not.

Hey, I'd love to see pics of your dress (with you wearing it, lol). I don't think it matters if you got married at Disney or not!
