My BF and I have been talking about getting married (we will be, just not sure when). Both of us are extremely casual people and don't want a formal wedding. However, we don't want to get married in our jeans either . So, my question is if anyone else got married casually dressed, and if so, do you have pictures of your dress. Thanks!

My friend is having a pretty casual wedding. They are getting married on top of a mountain, then mountain-biking down the hill together. She wanted something short so she could ride her bike in it, but still wanted something that looked like a wedding dress. I helped her pick out this dress:

She has gotten it in ivory. It is very nice with lace and beading so it totally works as a wedding dress. I would try looking at bridesmaid dresses. You can get a lot of them in white so they still look like a wedding dress but are a lot less formal.

I have worked in bridal for years and this is a growing trend. I have sold numerous brides their wedding gowns from the prom rack (perfect time of the year to shop for that) or a bridesmaid dress in white, ivory or champagne. Alot of the maid's dresses come with a little sparkle on them to dress it up a bit. I am sure that you will find exactly what you are looking for!

ok girlies, here is my dress. It's a custom made by a designer who designs dresses for the MS. America pageants. it's not totally done, and trust me these pics don't do it justice.

THe back is a corset back, and the pull ups on the front have still not had their rhinestones added. Also my skirt comes off.....yes a 2 piece dress, and I have chiffon silk pants underneath for comfort and for dancing at the reception...... let's not forget it needs to be hemmed, and the dress of course a little tighter, I am very short (4' 11")
