Wedding dresses

Oh goody!! A dress twin!!

I've only seen one other bride who wore the dress- besides you! I just love the gown. I wore white, I see you wore Ivory!! Got any more photos?

I know you guys got the same dress, but they look nothing alike to me. I guess it is all in who's wearing it that determines how it looks. BTW you both look stunning in that dress!

Yeah, I think even if it's the same style dress, each bride makes it her "own" and looks beautiful in her dress on her most special day :bride:

Brittany I sent you a PM with some more pictures, I would love to see more photos of your day too!

You all have such gorgeous dresses!

Here is mine:

It a really small picture--there's a much better one on the David's site:

It's exactly the kind of dress I never though I would want...but the lady at David's made me try it on...and when I saw myself in the mirror, I just started weeping because I thought it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen!

That's the very first one I fell in love with. My wedding is still over a year away, so I haven't chosen one yet, but I heard some not so great things about David's. How was your experience with them? I would love to get that dress if they are ok to deal with. Thanks :)

All of these dresses are so beautiful!! Not getting married at Disney, but honeymooning there as well as a Disney Cruise and I like to hang out here rather than the Knot cause everyone is so much nicer :)

I just got my dress from David's Bridal in Madison, WI and I had also heard bad things about David's in general but I had an excellant experience. The ladies were all so nice and helpful. I'm sure the service differs in every store.

Here is the dress I ordered in white which I'm holding in front of me in one of the pictures, they didn't have it in white for me to try on in my size, but I always envisioned wearing white and my fiance wants white. But the 2-tone champagne/ivory started to really grow on me from wearing it so long! I did not expect to buy a dress so fast and I was (still am) having a little buyers remorse. I do love the dress, It was my top choice before even going, but you know, I want to look perfect! Does it make me look fat? LOL

I really like the detailing along the top and I definitely think the white is so much prettier :) Good choice :)

SparKelly, you look absolutely gorgeous in that dress!!!! VERY good choice.

I'm not crazy about that dress in champagne (just too shiny) but in white it looks amazing!! :thumbsup2 Very, very good choice!

Well, I have taken it in to get alterations yet...but so far they've been great! The woman who worked with me even told me me wait a month to get the dress because she knew there would be a sale. :thumbsup2

I'd heard such mixed reviews that I didn't know what to think, but I loved the dress enough to take a chance.

I found another dress that I like but am having a hard time deciding on which one I like more- I don't have pics of me in them but when I go and try them on again I will take pictures with the dresses on. Here are the two that I am deciding on:

I like the second one! :Pinkbounc

Wow princessblueeyez...I love them both, but I'm thinking I'm leaning toward the first because I like the lines (especially the waist) better. I tried on the second when I was looking and liked it a lot...it was high on the list, but #1 wasn't out yet. I would have loved the full skirt on #1 though...It probably would have won!!

Princessblueeyzes--they're both pretty, but I think I like the first one best.

I have to agree. I think the first one has more of a "princess" look to it, with the full skirt. But, that's just me... :confused3

Whatever dress you choose, I am sure it will be the perfect one for you... :thumbsup2

Thanks! My sister is getting married in April and we went to David's when she was looking. They were really really pushy. They wouldn't just let her try on dresses, they made her try on gloves, headpieces, jewelry, shoes, chokers, you name it. It seemed like all they were concerned about was the 'upsell.' I understand it's easier to pick a dress when you can see the whole picture, but it was a little annoying.
