Does anyone know how they decide who you get and then when do you know who you manager is? I have my contract and am sending it back this week and was not sure if anyone could shed some light.

It's on a pre-set time schedule. EMs work 1 week of wedding per month. The other 3 are for planning and meetings, etc. So, they take your date and the week of the month it is and choose from the EMs they have working that WEDDINGS that week.

Atleast this is how it was explained to us in casual conversation with her. Our poor EM is supposed to be MOVING the week of our wedding, too... poor thing!

your em is assigned based on whos available your wedding week & theres ems that specialize in certain venues or intimate/custom weddings i was told.

your sales manager will do a conference call (thats what mine did) or email with your event manager to introduce him/her to you in the next few weeks/within a month (my first contact with our em was 3 weeks after sending our contract) & then you'll start planning & sharing additional ideas.

you're assigned your em after your contract is signed at/around the 8 month mark.
