Wedding Colors

Great pictures Jennifer! I like your colors too! I love that deep purple color and deep red. However, I think I might need to stay with my blue scheme so as not to make the tinkerbelle's look too out of place. Thanks for the idea!

Okay...I'm not really having a color scheme because it's just my DH2B and me...but I ordered custom M&M's for favors and the colors were "summer blend"...we're getting married in about two weeks and I liked those colors because of the summery feel...hot pink, yellow, LIME GREEN, and teal...

Here's a pick of how the M&M's turned out...it could be a great mix with the Tinkerbelle costumes!!!

I'm thinking pinks and greens. I'm hoping to incorperate different shades of each to make it a little more visually interesting, from very light baby pink to a darker rose, and a light sage to a brighter leaf green.

We are doing a subtle beauty and the beast theme with the main focus on red roses and a hint of gold.

My bouquet will be all red roses, the unity candle arrang will be red roses. the bridesmaids dresses are red top with long black skirt (make a match from davids bridal) thier flowerrs will be red and gold roses. The guys will wear black tuxes w/ coordinating red vests and tie from after hours. My fiance will wear the same tux but with gold vest and tie. Our invites and programs, menus and place cards will have a gold printed castle....that's as far as I have gotten so far! lol! :teeth:

That's what I did, but I chose to use only one green. The pinks started at super pale and went to fushia...It looked great!

FH and I are going with gold and various shades of champagne, white, creme, ivory ... utterly chic I think. I love pink so much, and I wanted to feel like a princess, but my FH would rather cut off a limb than show up to a mostly/moderately pink affair. So we went with gold ... how much more royal can you get? :cloud9:

Our colors are ivory and cafe (kind of like a khaki color) with some pale pink. We getting married at Sea Breeze Point & going with the whole 1920s/1930s feel to the wedding.

Just curious to see what wedding colors people had at their weddings? I am up in the air right now. I am concerned colors of dresses and decorations won't match well. My dress has champagne in the gown. Here is the link:

My flower girls are wearing tinkerbell constumes! They are so cute!
I love the color blue but am worried all those colors are going to look crazy!! I also like color wine (deep red color)

Any suggestions?

Please post the color schemes you picked. Thanks :earsgirl:

Champagne would be nice for your bridesmaids..they would look great with pics of you/them, and the tinks will mix nicely as well. With the tinks you have to have a pretty low key color for bridesmaids.

Hmmmm...my closers were close to what you are describing. My BM's wore Burgandy. I used burgandy and a champagne-pink in my bouquet and my BM's carried champagne-pink flowers. It was really pretty! If I could EVER figure out how to get photos on here, I would show you!

We're having an autumn extravaganza with chocolate brown, cranberry, ivory, and burnt orange :)

I'm not having any bridemaids but my maid of honor will be wearing pink. And my flower girl will be wearing a white halter dress with light/dark pink roses patern

where did you get the m&m done? did you make them yourself? I love them

go to www.m-ms.com and click on "customize your candy"...and go from there! There are lots of options and I thought the cost was "reasonable"! :sunny:

Bridesmaid and MOH will be wearing purple with a lavender accent ribbon and they will be carring hot pink roses in a silver holder. Our linens for the reception are purple and will have pink petals sprinkled on. I actually have a picture of it on here somewhere where they made up our table during our menu tasting. I'll post it when I find it!!

I have a cinderella type dress. :wizard: My daughter, our Jr. Bridesmaid, chose Royal Blue. :cloud9: I have 4 Bridesmaids, each one is wearing a different color and the groomsmen will have matching colors in their vests to match the girl they're paired up with... the colors are red, winter sage, gold, and cinammon. My bridesmaid's dresses are from Jessica McKlintock. :-) My gown is the one on the front cover of the David's Bridal catalog. :-) I have the 6 ft. cathedral veil that goes with it also... :-)

Only 1 year and a couple of weeks to go...

Keep smiling! :-) :flower: :sunny:

Happylalagirl -
I just wanted to say I love your idea of having each bridesmaid wear a different color and the groomsmen to match! That is going to look awesome!

maybe go with 2 different themes for your ceremony & reception. thats what were doing for the ceremony we have a roses, red & gold theme at the yc gazebo & then at the reception we have a shells, blue & silver theme at ariels.

this is your wedding so do whatever makes you happy. champagne on your dress & wine colors for the bms will look nice. then have blue at your reception for the theme or tables, etc.

We didn't have colors. I had navy on my dress, DH wore a maroon shirt, and my MOH wore lime green and our BM wore an aqua colored shirt. It was bright and vibrant and worked for us.

My dress was diamond white, my BM's wore black dresses with red flowers and the guys wore black tuxes with platinum vests.
