Wedding attire question......

I'm tempted to have him dress up as Wally:rolleyes1 The wedding is far enough away that we're staying at a hotel overnight, so I think we may just bring down 2 outfits for him-a light weight suit and a guayabera and dress pants. The hotel is near the wedding venue, so he can always go back and change out of his suit if other guests are dressed more casually. Unfortunately my NY Yankees cocktail dress is at the dry cleaners, so I'll just be wearing a regular cocktail dress............

I don't think I ever suggested that he might consider wearing shorts:confused3. Anywhoo.......just found out that the wedding will also have a Red Sox theme....so now it's a semi-formal baseball themed farm wedding:rolleyes1

:rotfl:

Okay, can you take some pictures for us and post them?

If people want to get married outside, I am all for it...just don't do it when YOU KNOW it is going to be over 85 degrees. What bride wants to be dripping in sweat in their wedding gown?

A baseball/farm themed wedding? Sounds like two people who couldn't come to an agreement. Should be interesting. Confusing, but interesting.

I - personally - have never been to a wedding in which the guest were wearing suites and ties. Even if it was semi-formal. But then again thats just my family and the area we live in. I would call up a few other guest and see what they were wearing - or wear a short sleeved shirt that could be dressed up with a jacket and tie if needed upon arrival to the wedding site.
