Wedding at magic kingdom

I was told if you ask about a magic kingdom wedding they'll quote you $500,000. The wedding at disney that Brides magazine is giving away is going to be during the day at the magic kingdom. They're hoping next year to be able to start doing magic kingdom weddings again, but don't have anything figured out yet. So maybe for some it'll be an option again with more flexibility.

Sounds Suprising. When i spoke with my SM she said that they would never shut the park for a MK wedding?!

Can anyone suggest anywhere else, apart from Magic kingdom...along the lines of a themed wedding?...i always thoought the wedding pavillion look fantastic!...but it's not my choice!.lol

There are LOADS of options! If you specifically want an in park wedding - there are lots of locations in EPCOT - Italy Isola, Japan, UK Rose Garden etc. Or if you were happy to wait for an evening wedding there is MGM Studios?

Failing that there is the resort options like sea breeze point and the yacht club gazebo and then you can go for a themed reception - such as a party on the beach or at Ariels!

I agree with you that the WP is amazing - it wasnt my choice either!

Where abouts are you getting married?.I'm the main bridesmaid.hehe. We were thinking about the wedding in the pavillion and then a themed reception
