Hi,

I just got engaged :cloud9: and we are looking into getting married in WDW (wishes pkg). I was wondering if there is a possibility to add the dining plan (for 11 days) to the annual passes that Disney will be giving us?

Also, can you downgrade to an Escape pkg if your guest count is lower than expected?

I have downloaded the passporter's giude to disney weddings...but I seem to have a few more questions...and I was hoping that you fellow DIS brides can help me out! :flower3:

Thanks!

Yes, you can add the dining plan when booking with your APs. It is called a ticketless dining plan. If booking over the phone you tell them you are an AP holder, if booking online add your AP voucher # and there is a spot to add on the ticketless dining plan.

The other question I'm not 100% sure of but I have heard it mentioned a few times that you cannot downgrade from Wishes to Escape but you can upgrade from Escape to Wishes.

Thanks for your help Jilian!

I super excited but I am totally overwhelmed with all the options for a WDW wedding!

Yes you are right. If you choose to downgrade you would lose your $1,000 deposit.

I can confirm that you can book the dining plan with the Annual Passes that were given to us. It saved us a few hundred dollars :)

Don't forget to ask if they are offering any AP discounts that can be applied to the room rate as well.

Hey, I just got my contract returned along with my annual passes. Do they annual passes start today, so it would basically be for all 2012, or do they start from the first time I use them, so maybe it would be May 2012 to May 2013? Anyone know? The passes were sent to my parents house so I wasn't able to look at them yet.

They start from the first day you activate them.
