Everyone... we need your opinions...

My wife & I will be at the Floridian June 7-14, 2006 to celebrate our 6th anniversary... which is June 10th. We can't decide where to have dinner!!

Like you all, WDW is like a second home for us. We've visited too many times to count. We were engaged in front of The Castle, and spent our honeymoon at the Floridian. We stayed at the AKL in February, and are going back in June.

So... you would think that picking that "special restaurant" would be easy. We're partial to Bongo's... but, we like Victoria & Albert's. Please make an argument for your favorite. It would really help us decide!!

Can't wait to see the responses!! :surfweb:

We're having our anniversary dinner at Todd English's Blue Zoo this year.

Everything I have read has me really looking forward to the food & the atmosphere. Hope it lives up to expectation.

DH proposed to me outside of sleepy hollow and on our Honeymoon, DH and I stayed at AKL and ate at Jiko.
on our 2nd anniversary...we went back to Jiko...and got the SAME waitress...Michelle. She made BOTH evenings PERFECT. (I forget where we ate on our first anniversary? I think maybe CG?)

We are very much partial to Jiko...one of my favorite restaurants on property.

hmmm..wonder if I can convince DH to use 2 table service credits at Jiko again for our anniversary in September? heheheh

yes - we've been back for our anniversary each year!

For an anniversary dinner, I would choose either Jiko or Victoria and Alberts. Both are quiet enough to allow for good conversation, and the food is excellent at both. I personally would choose Victoria and Alberts.

I agree with liamsaunt. I woud go with either Jiko or V&A's. I have not been to the later but have heard good things. Jiko is one of the only restaurants on disney property that I have found to be "romantic." Have you thought about eating off disney propery? Bluezoo is also great and I would definatley recomend emeril's and tchoup tchop over most disney restaurants.

My wife and I have booked our 10th anniversary dinner for V&A. We are looking forward to it!

My husband and I celebrated our 18th anniversary at Shula's last June. We plan on celebrating there again for our 19th. Wonderful food & experience.

Happy early anniversary !

Where ever you decide, mention your anniversary in your ADR.
Some pixiedust: may sprinkle on you.

We are going to Rose & Crown for our 21st anniversary, but our kids will also be with us. :grouphug:

Since you have no kids to tote around with you I would suggest a bit of romance :love2: for dinner ...
Cinderella's Royal Table - castle setting
Jiko - exotic flavors
California Grill - front row seating to Wishes with the light dimmed
Victoria and Albert's - elegance at it's best
Yachtsman Steakhouse - upscale steak house (pick your own steak)
