We are attending a wedding at Seabreeze Point at the Boardwalk. The family has a block of rooms at AKL. If we drive our car from AKL to BW for the ceremony will our names be on some kind of list so we can park there?

Also, there is a dessert party that evening at Epcot. We are supposed to meet at 7:45 at the International Gateway to be escorted into the party. What is the best way to get there from AKL?

Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure about the answer to A. Boardwalk does have valet parking though and if they reject you from the free parking, you could always pay to valet.

But for B- take a Hollywood studios bus, then skyliner to the international gateway. Or Uber to the swan/dolphin.

I would check with the bride/groom or those organizing the wedding to confirm what parking arrangements have been made. If the person planning the wedding isn't familiar with Disney parking practices, they may not realize that resorts within walking distance of parks are more restrictive on who is allowed to park there. People often try to park for free at a resort as a way of getting out of paying for theme park parking, so Disney has become more restrictive about parking.

Given that the wedding is at Seabreeze Point, it's an official Disney wedding. I'd check with the bride and groom to confirm, but I suspect that the listed guests (Seabreeze Point doesn't allow for a lot of people) will be allowed to park at Boardwalk, both for the wedding and the party.

PS NM! I see you already asked your questions on the Disney Weddings board and got answers! (And I'm glad to have learned some new information - thanks for an interesting question!)

You should be checking with the bride and groom. They will have the necessary details from their wedding coordinator.

We just did a disney wedding in AK (and then did a dessert party also in Epcot) but because the one we went to occurred inside the parks I suspect the process may be a tad different. However, the way it worked for them is guests HAD to be picked up at one of the 3 hotels they had room blocks for, in this case All-Star Movies, Caribbean Beach Resort and AKL. Guests needed to find transportation to one of those resorts. We decided to park at AKL (we were offsite), we advised the guard at the gate what we were there for, he took my husband's DL, wrote some information down, and had us go on our way. A Disney bus made it's way from each of the resorts listed to pick us up. We all were escorted in together and had to then leave together. However, like I said this was at a park.

As far as the parking restriction if this is done directly through Disney I assure you they have accounted for that, it's not on the bride and groom to account for that but they should have that information to relay to their guests what to do. If that is "you're on your own" then that's at least your answer but you should be checking with the wedding couple on this one. They should have specific details for just their wedding.
