RIDES, RIDES, AND MORE RIDES!
Lunch was over and Elsa and I felt like we were on a grease overload. Blah. No more fish-n-chips for us. Ever. We made the choice to head on over to Club Cool in hopes of washing some of that grease down. Ugh.
1st we had to check out the phone booths. We have had all three numbers programmed into my iPhone for at least 6 months. When we are really missing WDW we have called them and had people pick up. It's our way of a little Disney magic while sitting at home on our couch. Today I kept my distance and had fun calling the booths while the kids were in them. As we were getting ready to go an older man stepped in and we called. When he finally picked up I asked, in my best British voice, to speak with the queen and he said "Hold on, she's right here" and handed the phone to his wife! We had a lovely chat about eating tea and crumpets later with Mary Poppins.

When they were done they walked by us, oblivious that we were the ones calling, discussing how much that cast member gets paid to sit in a room and call the booth.
Next two young boys entered the same booth and just about jumped out of their skins when the phone started ringing. We had some fun conversations about the weather and if they were indeed having a good time. They came out to tell their parents all about it. I called on the next phone and they rushed to answer it. They couldn't figure out how I knew what color their coats were or how I knew which booth they were in at that moment. The parents were good sports and didn't reveal who the caller was once they spotted me. I figure I could sit a ways away from those booths for a whole day, just calling and seeing peoples reactions. I need to get a life.
We stopped in Canada for one of our favorite photo spots:
EPCOT'S Christmas Tree:
We finally made it to Club Cool and of course had to sample everything. All those sodas feel like you're drinking pure sugar. I can only take little sips...and of course I stay clear of the Beverly!

I told the kids to point to their favorite ones and Elsa accidently pointed to the Beverly instead of the Mezza Mix orange soda next to it:
After creating a few cavities, we made our way to Mission Space! We did everything we could to try and convince Michael to join us on the orange side. We encouraged, we teased, we demanded, we begged...but in the end he still chose the green side. So we split knowing we would meet back up in the gift shop. I have to admit, during our "launch" I was questioning my decision to ride the intense side. I won't badger Michael again. He knows his limits and if he is ok with it, and riding solo, then we should be ok with it too!
(I just

pushing the buttons when I have a duty to complete)
Ellen's Energy Adventure was next on our list. We have never ridden this before, mostly because of the bad reviews it gets. I am not embarrassed to admit that we LOVED it! We laughed at all the corny jokes and thought it was super neat! The only thing that really needs to be addressed right away is Ellen's wig when she is trying to keep from getting eaten from the dinosaur. Come on Disney. You paid her
how much to be a part of this and then you can't find or make a wig that matches her very specific hair do?
While waiting in line for Test Track, one of Elsa's favorites, we found a jelly bean in our bag that matched her nailpolish exactly!
It's the small things in life!
Captain EO!!!!! We were ready. It was on all three of our Disney Bucket Lists.

We were excited.

Ready to see the King of Pop at his prime.
Ok, now when I first saw this I was little. Really little. I only had snippets of memories regarding it. I remembered standing for the movie (incorrect memory). I remembered a lot of dancing (pretty good memory). I remember it being so very awesome (ummmmmm,
terribly incorrect memory). I have come to two conclusions after viewing it; The 80's were wack and Michael Jackson's dancing can not fix a goofy story line with poorly done puppets.
We experienced it and can check it off our DBL's. I think once (or twice in my case) is enough for this family.
After Figment we were ready for dinner at Sunshine Seasons. This is one of my favorite counter service options! So much to choose from and it seems so much more fancy than an old hamburger!
My pork chop, the best mashed potatoes known to man, and my key lime pie:
Michael's seared tuna which he didn't like at all. They graciously allowed him to re-order:
Elsa's sweet and sour chicken. Michael got this as well for round two:
Next Up:
TO PEARL OR NOT TO PEARL, THAT IS THE QUESTION!
