Websites for Cheap Flights?

I'm sure this has been asked time and again, but I didn't have much luck searching it, so....can people pls post their favorite canadian sites for cheap airfares. After losing all hope with Southwest's cruddy flight costs for our trip (Feb '05) I am back to the drawing board, trying to search out the cheapest flight. I check Westjet frequently, and just checked Sunwing (unfortunately nothing on the dates we need, but holy cow what low fares!) so, any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I tried looking at various websites for cheap fares. I found itravel2000.com was good for showing more airlines and options. It was the first travel search engine that showed me the Sunwing/Kelowna Flightcraft fares. I didn't get in on the $49 fare but we did get the $99 fare for Jan. 2-14 totalling about $1150. for four of us. I was thrilled since last year we paid $1500. for a flight at the same time of year. At any rate, I found more options listed than on the other sites I searched.

I've had a lot of luck with selloffvacations.com. It's where I got my January $46.00 roundtrip flights!!! It's a canadian owned company too!

I use sidestep as well. Its also great for hotels and car rentals.

I like sidestep.com also - they seem to have good options - but then after I find their cheapest flight I go to that airlines website to double check. I'm going to check out selloffvacations right now though.

I just went over to their site, they do not show the "TICA". Is it safe to use them?

I just went to selloffvacations.com and every possible flight I put in came back as "not available". Why is that?? I was trying for November and December (Toronto - Moncton) and (Toronto - Orlando) just to make comparisons and couldn't get any prices.

When I go to selloffvacations, I click over on the side to sell off airfare which takes you to selloffairfares.com and then click on charters as they are always the cheapest. I was just there and got 146.00 rtrp for December6th-13 on Air Transat. If you put info into the first page it's for package vacatons. Not sure what "tica" means but friends of ours have been using this site for years witout problems. When I made our reservations for Jan. they called right away to confirm and were really nice and helpful. Hope this helps!
