website says ee is 1 1/2 hr. early...

while checking the nov. schedule on the disney website (thanks to whomever posted that the schedule could be found there), i noticed that it said that early entry is 1 1/2 hrs. before the parks normally open. everything i've read is that it is only 1 hr prior to regular opening....

can anyone clarify this for me?

It's one hour prior unless something has changed.

Extra Magic Hour is what I've always heard it called.

That is correct. And I believe back then it was 1 1/2 hours ealier. The EE program was discontinued late in 2001, and about a year later they started the Extra Magic Hour, which is just that 1 hour.

However like most people here, I sometimes still call it EE. I think the 2 terms have become interchangable, but technically its now EMH.

i saw it 3 or 4 days ago on the disneyworld.com website (through the link someone here provided). while looking up park schedules for nov., i saw the "1 1/2 hr early " extra magic hour for resort guests on the right side of the screen in the "tips" section....

of course, i've tried going back to find it, but can't (i wanted to copy and paste it here)....

anyway, thanks to all for clarifying
