Does DVC not have a website to make official updates on the website status?..

Got up to be on at 6 AM my time and the site was down. Glad I decided to go back to bed instead of refresh for the last 2 plus hours.

The site works just anything that requires you to login is down...no need to login to do the help chat

Agreed. Timing just seems a bit too coincidental. Unless the IT staff is still nursing their hangovers.

Been a member since 2001. The online reservation tool has always been BAD - glitchy, slow, ”unavailable,” etc. Disney/DVC will continue to do this as long as people keep buying contracts and booking reservations.

Not generally, if that were the case they wouldn't let you book off hours.

Actually, the recorded message at MS this week specifically noted that the call in center would close early on Dec. 31 and remain closed until Jan. 2 BUT online booking would be available.
