Webmaster Barry, HELP!

Ever since the new Dis sponsor stuff has been added, the boards are too wide and are Extremely slow. Can anything be done about it? The complaints are mounting over on the Tech Forum. Any other Universal buddies as frustrated as i am?

Thanks a bunch, Robin! It is running much faster today. Maybe they got the glitch out or maybe it was just a coincidence that the boards were running slower yesterday.

I really haven't experienced too much slow speed but the width of the boards is really big- so much so that i have to scroll back and forth to see the name of the post and when it was posted

but, either way... i am so thankful for these helpful boards

That's strange--I don't have to scroll back and forth at all. Maybe someone who knows computers more than I do can explain why some people would have to scroll side to side and others wouldn't have to.

It's sort of weird. This forum and the Trip report one is really wide. The Hotel forum is fine. Hasn't slowed me down, though.

Hmmm, I view on a laptop screen--not a bad size for a laptop, but not a gigantic 17 or 19" screen, either.

Same thing here. It is better than yesterday, but still a bit to wide on this board and trip report board.
