there is a new underwater room you can buy, and underwater accsesories. its cute.
bats fly, so i think she was curious to see if it flew in the underwater room.
we dont have the bat yet, so i dont know if it walks or flies.

We haven't activated the bat yet, so I don't know about flying, but the manatee (and I think goldfish) have 'underwater' rooms. They swim about in them when you move them from place to place in the underwater room. When they go out into normal rooms, they're surrounded by this water bubble. It's really cute.

but 9 of them are mine. (I had to go get the goldfish.. the underwater room is very cool.)

We have been doing it for almost 3yrs too. It is a nice simple gift that people enjoy buying. We have also used them as incentives.

Grandma even has 3 and enjoys having something to discuss with the kids, and sending them "gifts".

My kids do play with the plushes also. They have to read or practice music for 20min to get 20min of computer time with their webkinz. Works great for us.

My girls have almost 10 each - they got a couple for birthdays as gifts from their friends, my SIL bought some & some are treats for different things througout the year (younges got two teeth pulled - tooth fairy brought her one for the trauma! )

we have alot, maybe 40 between both girls. many were gifts and they earned some.
but I also just got DD one for the trauma of having a tooth pulled! OUCH! it was a nasty one.
we have charms and cards too.

DS6 has an 'embarassment of riches' when it comes to transforming plastic robots. But we do have one Webkinz critter courtesy of grandma, and he'll probably be hoping for another come Christmastime, if only to continue his membership in the website. The games are fun. I've even found myself playing the Bejeweled clone to pass the time and earn some Kinz cash in the process.

DS8 has five Webkinz. One he bought himself the rest were gifts. They are very popular with the kids at before and after care at school. In the afternoon they are in the library and can play on the computer with them.

Well I will admit that we love Webkinz in our house. DD has almost 30 and I have a little over 25. I have the bat and it does fly. So does the toucan, it's really cute. I have a fsh but haven't adopted it yet, so I don't know if the bat gets an air helmet when it goes underwater like the other pets do.

My kids have 4 or so each. Webkinz have gone on my banned list now. My daughter has all of her items twice now.(She was crushed both times) The first time was definately her fault but the second I'm not so sure about. I called WebKinz suport and they proved to be useless and really annoyed me. This whole thing could easily get resolved with either an outbox for sent items on accounts or parental controls on this where you can limit transactions.

DD has 4 (elephant, pink pony, pink poodle & pink pig). She's also getting a reindeer in her stocking (FYI that I found it for 50% off after Christmas at Club Libby Lu). She also has a dress for 1 of them but wants more clothes. I have a 25% off coupon for LimitedToo that I may use for that.
DS has 1. He begged for it & has played with it online once or twice.

I'd love to get her the whimsy dragon but I refuse to pay over $20 on eBay for one. I may suggest my DS get her some webkinz clothes for Christmas.

We have about 90!!!!!! Yup, that is right 90!!!! I think I am worse than the kids are. I love them. I am addicted!!! I want all the new ones, but I am refusing to buy anymore. We will see how long that lasts!!! LOL

DS(7) has about 11 and DS(3)...because he thinks he's 7 has 4.
We've been getting ours at Walgreen lately. They have the little kins for only $6.99. When they had a coupon a few weeks ago for $5 off $20 purchase we bought 3 so they were around $4.50 each! Good Deal!

DD11 has I think 8, DD8 has 13 or 14, DS6 has 6 I think. I have 2. I like them, I think they have enough, but I like them. They are affordable, I like the website and how it is done and they are cute.

My kids have 1 each. If someone wants to buy them for my kids, Im fine with it, but I don't see any reason to spend so much money for a stuffed animal thats just going to end up on the floor. They each play with the one online then move onto something else...I cant say much though, I had about 60 Barbies when I was a kid!

My kids have zero. My daughter talks about the neighbor boys webkinz. My daughter seems to ask about getting 1 every 6 months or so. I say no.

I think DD11(12 at Xmas) is up to 29, but I stopped buying them for her. Most of her's are gifts from family and friends. I must say that she plays with them all the time and not just one at a time. She gets to interact with her friends via the website also which I like because a few of her close friends live quite aways from us. I agree with the other poster that I don't see a difference between them and any other toy. She has about 10 -15 bratz dools that she hardly ever looked at even when she was younger. Her top 3 things are Webkinz, AG and Polly Pocket. I know this is probably her last year of enjoying this form of play so I'm not pushing her to give it up. I'll keep her a bit younger as long as I can if you kow what I mean .

We have 22 total in our house. DS4 has 6 and DD 8 has 16. I'm looking to buy DD a goldfish, Manatee or dolphin in 2 weeks when her report card comes home. My kids love webkinz and play the games on internet almost everyday. DD's webkinz have a mansion online .

BIG webkinz collecters here!! My ds has 64 and dd has 63. They have come from gifts from us, family, friends, holidays and their own allowance. I figure they are less then $15, not going to rot their teeth, and some of the games are somewhat educational. ie. quizzies questions, word challenge etc.
Besides...they're just so darn cute!!
