DD9 wants to have a Webkinz party for her birthday. We will have it at a local Art center and make jewelry for girls and their Webkinz. This place will not supply refreshments and gift bags, so I need to find those. I have not been able to find any Webkinz party supplies, do they even make them? Any ideas for gift bags (budget minded, of course:thumbsup2 )? How about refreshments? The place will do games and the chosen art activities (beading and jewelry). Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Go onto www.webkinz.com and on the login page there is an arts and crafts corner I believe. They have cake, goodie bags, activities, and birthday ideas. My daughter is also thinking of doing this and I can't find any party supplies either. This is as close as I've gotten. Hope that helps.

Webkinz are so cute! I play with them more than my kids!
The gem hunt under the "party ideas" is ADORABLE!!
The girls will have fun, no matter what!
Maybe you could make sure the pets all have party hats?

My dd's friend is having a Webkinz Party next weekend. Her mom bought a bunch of the figurines that are on sale at Limited Too for $1.99/each. They also have the lipgloss & body spray for $1.99. She bought the Zoo Pals paper plates for the cake.......

Our Hallmark had the Webkinz lip gloss, figures, mouse pads, and other accessories 75% off- you may find things you can use for the party. Have fun!

Thanks for all the ideas. I will go to Limited Too and look for discounted accessories. I have some bucks to use anyway. The party hat idea is cute. Too bad there aren't party plates and napkins, I did find invites and thank you cards online.

I have a coupon for our local Hallmark for this weekend, so I will look for any discounted items there also.

but my friend has a Webkinz party for her DD last year. She went to ebay and ordered a lot of L'il Kinz for about $4 each and gave them as favors. The kids were talking about it for months.

I was thinking the same thing. For years I owned a small party favor/corporate promo business that I ran out of my home. $4-$5 is a really great price for a party favor and if you can find the webkinz for that price I would grab them up! IMHO after doing the goodie bag thing for years, I feel that giving one substantial thing like a lil kinz rather than a bunch of little things makes the favor seem more significant. Plus as we all know, you get too many little items in the bags and they all wind up either on the floor of the car or in the garbage in a few days.

Another suggestion would be to buy the lip gloss or figurine at a discount and get a box of Hershey bars at your local Coscto or BJ's and make up Webkinz labels on your computer for them. They don't have to be ultra fancy like the professional ones I did for parties. They can just have some webkinz stuff on them and say, "Susie's Webkinz Party" or something like that. Then just place the bar and the lip gloss in a little celophane bag with curly ribbon and there ya go!
I was always a big fan in letting the giveawy show through the clear wrapping, it just always seemed more elegant and festive to me and my customers always loved them. Hope this helps!
If you have have a lot of Webkinz in your home like me, (we have 60, yes 6-0!) Bring them along and use them as decorations for the party. You could tie a few to a bunch of dollar store balloons and let them be the party centerpiece.

I agree, I think kids would like leaving with a Webkinz as much or more than a gift bag. And you would probably end up cheaper. Those gift bags end up getting expensive.

But if you choose to go with a gift bag, what about including a big gold foil, chocolate coin - Kinzcash or Wish Token.:thumbsup2

ETA: Don't forget they have trading cards, maybe you could buy a couple packets and put a couple cards in each bag.

Walgreens sells Little Kinz for $6.99. This weekend they have a coupon fro spend $25 get $5 off. I always buy them when walgreens has a coupon to stash away for gifts!:thumbsup2

OHHHH OMG.. Thank you.. My daughter is having a webkinz bday and I just bought lip gloss at Halmark yesterday and it was 6.99 or 7.99 each.. uggg. And I won a auction on ebay for the figures.. But would much rather pay 1.99 than what i did for them.. lol.. Im gonna have to check it out. Buy some extra and store them away for stocking stuffers.

I just got back from my first Webkinz shopping trip. I went to our local Hallmark, where I had a $5 off $25 purchase. They have Lil Kinz 1/2 off at $5.49. Other items are regular price. I also went to Justice, where they have selected Webkinz at $5.90 and they also have the Webkiz figurines for $3 each. I will make a trip to Limited Too tomorrow to see if I can find the accessories for $1.99.

Thank you so much PP for the tip about presenting the gift bags. I think we will give a webkinz or lilkinz depending on what we find along with an accessory in a see thru cellophane type bag, since the webkinz bags are expensive. We have a few party guests with food allergies, so I don't want to put candy etc. in them.

We ended up making a big purchase at Limited Too today. Their webkinz figurines were $1.99 each and buy one get one 50% off. The sales clerk also said that some parents have used these as cake toppers, which was a great idea. We bought 20 figurines and some will be used for ther cake. She also told me they had Webkinz for $5.90 each and she would not limit us to 3. We bought pandas and leopards (I think) as party favors (along with a figurine). After using Too bucks, it came to $5.40 per guest. I have spent much more than that on party favors.

They also had lip gloss and necklaces $1.99 but they were not B1G1 50% off. Since there are no official Webkinz party supplies, I would suggest using the figurines. DD9 is excited to design her own cake and it will be cheaper for me to get a simple cake and have her decorate it.

HTH others planning a Webkinz party.

We were going to have a Webkinz party at home for dd's b-day in Dec. However, our house was seriously damaged in Hurricane Ike & we are in a rental house while it is being repaired.

DD is having a gymnastics party instead but still wants Webkinz. I am thinking for the goody bag to either do a cellaphane bag filled w/ gold paper, chocolate coins (kinz cash), & a package of trading cards or I am going to buy LilKinz at Walgreens like someone suggested or elsewhere if I can find them cheaper.

For paper goods, I think if I can find those animal paper plates (they look like animal faces & the "ears" would hold catsup or whatever. Hobby Lobby also has zebra plates that are pretty cute. I have also seen leopard print plates, etc. I am really surprised that Webkinz has not come out w/ a line of party goods.
