Hello,
it's snowing here in CT. and really hard too:( anyway, I have(had)
a web cert acct. and haven't used it in over a year I'm sure I have some sort of minus balance or whatever and that's fine but, I'm wondering if I order a webcert through mypoints if it will go into the account and they take the fees from that or if I'd have to pay upfront does anyone know? when I try to log in they tell me they can't process my login and to contact CS just wanted to know what y'all thought I'd like to get the webbies to put on my card for Disney in June :)
Thanks, Maryann

This is just a guess, but I bet they would charge you the fees. What about getting the webbie emailed to you and then just applying it to your room or something else?

If you claim a webbie to that account, they will subtract the negative balance from the webbie that is added. This is still better than the other two options (adding funds or purchasing a webbie to cover the negative balance).

If you want to add funds to your existing account using a credit card, they will charge 2% of the amount added. So, to add $50, you will be charged an additional $1.

If you purchase a webbie to add to your account, it will cost you $2.95 for any amount between $20-$49. Larger webbies cost even more.

If you do not have the plastic Webcertificate MasterCard, my advise would be this: Order a webbie as a reward thru MyPoints. When it arrives, claim it by setting up a new Webcertificate account with a new email address. The address that the webbie was sent to does not need to be the one that it gets claimed to. My DH and I have separate email accounts but we combine our webbies in the same account. In this way, you will not start out "in the hole".

If you have the plastic card, call Webcertificate customer service to find out what the balance is. If the balance exceeds -$6.95, do as described above. A new plastic card will cost you $6.95 but that would be less than having to cover larger dormancy fees.

Thanks for the replies :) I just got off the phone with the CS
I couldn't log in because my acct. was inactive for a long while :(
the girl gave me a new acct. number but, when I logged on there was a charge for $56.94 from people mag from March, 02
it looks like it was taken out then put back on but, for the balance it shows $0.00 I'm afraid to order a webbie now :( and to make matters worse I have to order a new card anyway ugh!
Maryann :)
