Web Cast Questions

I just got an invite to view a web cast from DVC. Can anyone tell me how long these web casts take? How do they work? TIA

They take about 30-45 minutes. Many people complained about the last one being cheesy. I didn't think so but had never watched one before. You just go to the link and watch it usually gives you a waiting screen...then it starts. The incentives come a the end...many people just turn it on and walk away...only to come back at the end.

I think the biggest problems from the last webcast were 1) audio: I and most others could barely hear what they were saying, I had my volume cranked up, and had to mess with the equalizer just to get a barely acceptable volume level. As a nice practical joke, they should of asked the webcast viewers to logon to their DVCmember.com page and get blasted by the background music
2) location. They used a really, really plain wall inside a BLT GV as the background to the hosts (that almost appeared to be cheap concrete blocks on the webcast)

So it was basically hard to listen and boring to look at. Then, despite the BLT location, the only mentioned incentive was AKV. (Although there were incentives on the others if you called a guide)

But, I did get my free lithograph, so it was worth it.
