Will the upcoming forecast of rain and wind from tropical depression Tammi ruin our planned vacation this weekend? Or is IOA and US mostly indoor stuff that we can still take advantage off.... This is the reschedule of a trip that was originally planned in april of this year..... so I really don't want to reschedule again.

The forecast is calling for 60% rain on thursday and then it is only 30 - 40% on friday, saturday and then very scattered on sunday. Personally, I still like those odds.... and I don't mind a little rain, hopefully keep the crowds away.....

man, i am all over the board with this post....

any advice or wisdom would be great..... :)

Will we still have a blast?

I would reschedule, Last March we were @ Universal and Islands and it started raining :umbrella: for like 2 hours and they shut down all outdoor rides :guilty: untill the rain stopped. you can still do the indoor rides and shows.

The way the path looks, you should be OK for just some normal FL rain. UF is mostly indoors and with IOA you should be OK unless it is a heavy rain and/or lightening. FL weather is so unpredictable you could wind up rescheduling and rescheduling and rescheduling.......

thanks for the replies.....I totally agree....I don't want to reschedule again....

we are there for 4 full days.... I am hoping that at least 2 of them would be ok.... and the other two can be hit or miss, since we are staying on site, go back to the room til it gets better, then go back....

I am too close to leaving for me to change now.... I think this tropical storm isn't anything to worry about..... and a little rain won't keep me away.... :)

You are right about the tropical storm, I just got an update from the Emergency Services and they said due to the path staying parrallel, the chances for heavy rain in Central FL have dimimished and flood watches have been cancelled so good news is it's moving on out

We'll be at the PBH Sat for HHN so I'm hoping for a great weekend as well!

Have Fun and here's to good weather :sunny:

awesome.....looks like we are looking at the same reports....

I don't mind overcast or some sprinkles.... like I said, it might keep some away... I just can't wait to fly outta here tomorrow morning....

it is going to be in the low 50's in metro detroit while we are down there.....lol.....
