Weather!

We are leaving on Saturday and will be there for four days, would like to know what the weather has been like.

Hot, hot, hot. Mid 90's. And late afternoon thundershowers like clockwork (although, sometimes the rain feels good after you've been walking all day in that heat).

Every weather website I looked at say thunderstorms everyday but is it really like that. Any hurricanes or anything in site?

Yes, it is really like that!!!!

No, no hurricanes thank God. When they say thunderstorms they really mean quick-hitters that run through the area and are gone in 15-20 minutes, and they are almost always sometime between 4:00 and 5:00 in the afternoon.

But the thunderstorms are like for 10 minutes...not a full day of rain!

Well, anywhere between 10 minutes and a couple of hours.

We just got back and it was mid to upper 90's with heat indices between 100-105 everyday. It rained at WDW once out of our 4 days there, but t-storms were forecast every day. It was possible that it rained in other areas of the resort, but we only felt drops on one day.

Just checked my tropical sources. There is a disturbance now near Hispanola which may give more steady and heavy rains to parts of Florida by late in the week. Not a serious hurricane though.

That is what I thought but wanted to make sure. Every day on the forecast says thunderstorms. I won't mind a 10 minute shower--it will cool me off alittle.

We just returned from a ten-day trip. Only got rained on one day for about a good 30 minutes, other than that lots of lighting in the evenings, but no rain. Very hot and humid, I believe that they set or tied temperature records six of the ten days we were there. We used the out early back at noonish for pools and showers and then back out again around fiveish, worked out really good.

We are leaving on Thursday for 7 nights. I checked www.accuweather.com and it shows around 90 degrees for most of the days. But, 2-3 of them were 88 or 89 degrees. While still hot. It doesn't seem as bad as it has been lately there with 95-97 degrees.

Yeah I saw that as well. No matter what its still hot!
