Hi guys after many trips to sunny Orlando in two weeks time we will be on our first disneyland paris.
Truthfully how cold is it in November? (Im a wimp and really feel the cold )
Do they have indoor activities at the park?
And this may sound a daft question but are also staying at Davy Crockett lodge with our two little ones and was wondering do they have heating in the rooms?

Hi we are going In two weeks 7th - 8th and getting an annual pass.

It will be cold so wrap up warm. I have no experience of davey Crockett.

So far it's been rather mild temperatures for this time of the year, you may be lucky if temperatures stay as they are. Otherwise November is usually cold (layers, warm socks and shoes, hat and gloves very handy) and worst, wet. You can have quite heavy rain... A few years ago we were there for 3 days beginning of November and it was heavy rain non stop, all day long... Or you can have a beautiful, sunny cold day. Keep an eye on the weather forecasts but prepare for the worst...

There's plenty to do inside, most rides are either indoors, or covered. Big Thunder Mountain is the biggest outside ride but it's closing next week.

Unless you're there over the weekend, parks are usually nice and quiet in November (weekends, with the Christmas season, are VERY VERY busy), so you should be able to get plenty done with little queues. That also means that you can take a break from it all and go and enjoy a hot chocolate and a cake to warm up a bit (the Cable Car Bake Shop is a favourite for this). Or Cafe Fantasia, in the Disneyland Hotel, if you feel like something fancier...

In Main Street, there are two covered walkways that take you from Town Square to the other side of Main Street, the Discovery Arcade (on the right, it takes you close to Discoveryland) and the Liberty Arcade (on the left, going towards Frontierland) The Liberty Arcade is also the start of a covered walkway that takes you all the way to Fantasyland and Adventureland, finishes next to Peter Pan and Pirates of the Caribbean (there's only a bit that is no longer covered). If it's raining, or crowded, it's really useful :)

I've stayed once in the Davy Crockett Ranch, it was end of November, and yes, rooms were heated. Very heated, we actually had to turn it down. There's also a really nice swimming pool (also heated), nice way of relaxing at the end of your day!

Have a great time :)

Thanks guys that's really helpful its our little girls birthday on Friday 13th November so that's the reason for our winter trip!
She thinks she's going to alton towers can't wait to see her face when she see's the castle!

Cable car cake shop sounds right up my street

Thanks for heads up I will pack lots of warm things and hope it says mild can't wait! X

Hi Leanne
No advice but we're heading over for 3 nights end of November and staying in dcr too so I'll be interested in hearing how you get on. We're going for my dds birthday (6). It's a surprise. I'm actually bursting to tell them but i know if I do they'll keep asking how many more days. Not sure how to reveal the surprise. Torn between telling her the night before and just waking them at 4am and telling them on the way to the airport. The excitement. Only 29 more sleeps

Arrrrh how lovely! It's my little girls 6th birthday too!
She knows she's not going to school on the Friday of her birthday (we've had to tell the school as they are so strict on attendance now)
We haven't told her a thing ...she's just started asking questions and presumed she's going to alton towers lol
We're going by car so was thinking of keeping it a secret all the way, i know what you mean about bursting to tell its killing not to say anything I'm so excited too! X

I can't wait to see the look on their little faces when they get there and see all the Xmas decorations.
My 2 dds love watching the disnry surprise videos on YouTube. They keep asking to go and we tell them when dd is 7 we can. She asked can we set up a suitcase with Disney things so she can guess where she's going lol
I've got light up Minnie headbands, autograph books and Disney princess purses to put spending money in for them. Got new Anna and elsa dresses too, I reckon they won't want any other dresses.
Have you made any dinner reservations yet? I'm going to book cafe mickey for first day but I want to see the timetable first so we don't miss anything.
