Hi there DISboards, I am a newbie here but have been lurking for months while planning our trip in December. I have learned so many great and useful things by reading everyone's great advice on the forums. I am hoping someone can help me now. My question is this, where can I find good and up to date weather reports for the Orlando area. I live in East Texas and the weather here is comparable the the weather in Orlando. So yes I know the weather is very unpredictable in December but I am still hoping to get some kind of information to work with. I hope someone can help me. Thanks so much

We did a two night trip in early January ( we're dark siders, btw)

The first day we swam and the second was so cold we cut our visit short. and I mean bitterly cold, windy, just freezing.I'll never go then without a serious thermal layer again. people from Ohio were complaining about the cold. it was COLD.

the forecast is more reliable on temps than it is, say, on rain in August, so take a look at the historical data, and start checking as you get closer to your trip.

Agreed, we were there this Jan 2-8 and it was freezing, we checked the weather before we left and nothing could have prepared us for what we actually encountered. We didn't bring winter coats as we were flying out of Detroit but we sure wish we had, thankfully we had brought jackets, mittens, lots of sweaters, and our Ugg boots our else we would have been frozen.

We were at WDW last December (the first week) and had great weather (high 70s during the day, high 50s at night). It was a little chilly for us compared to some of our other trips there. We didn't go in the pool, but we did lay out on the beach at the Beach Club.

Anyone in WDW today, what's the weather like? Should I expect rain? Some sites are saying yes while others say no.
