What does Disney do if it rains? We are suppose to be there Sat but it is suppose to rain all week. I plan to take ponchos and umbrellas but is the park going to be open? A little worried

Yep, the parks stay open. Actually only certain things stop if there is lightening in the area. Ponchos are a must, umbrellas may be a problem if the park is crowded. Good luck. I hope the rain stays off shore for you

it takes EXTREME weather to affect the parks being open. and sometimes rides that are closed for lightning (the Mountains for example) will have short shutdowns....weather in Florida can change suddenly. we have usually headed to Epcot on questionable weather days since you spend more time indoors there than at the other 3 parks.

and as me and my family always say....:it's only a little water after all !

My favorite place to go on a rainy day is the water parks.
