We will be in DL next weekend. Forecast is showing rain. I know there are pros and cons to rain in DL. But I want to be prepared.

For the locals, are they predicting bad rain or just showers?

I just got off the plane yesterday evening from Disneyland and I would say be prepared for everything. I was actually in San Diego (5-9 Nov) and Anaheim (9-12 Nov) and Anaheim had major rain while I was in San Diego.

Also it was cold and chilly especially in the morning and evening. One evening I had on gloves I was so cold.

Not sure if my comments help, but I would just be prepared for everything.
