Today we are under an excessive heat warning. Maybe storms later.

Already 85 here and it's only 10 in the morning. Feels like a steam bath outside. I don't think they needed to give us a heat advisory, I think it's obvious, lol. Chance of a storm later today. We had one last night around dinner time. Dropped the temp to 84, but made it even stickier out there.

Yep, I was dripping after my 3 mile walk at 5:30am! I feel for anyone who has to work outdoors in this - it's dangerous!

Severe Stormy Storms have passed again for another evening in Atlanta ...

We've been under Excessive Heat Warnings for a week now, and projected to last at least until the weekend. Smashing all sorts of records for both actual temperature and heat indexes, which have been hovering around 120 degrees. I work from home, and I haven't been leaving the house. It feels like a blast furnace just stepping out into the backyard.

My area is at a lovely 77 degrees with a slight breeze and low humidity.
