Had some really nice weather in MA over the weekend, but we're back to hot and humid with potential severe storms this afternoon/evening.

Let’s see. It’s been in the high 80s here, but 90s inland. I am near the coast, so it’s a little cooler at home.

This weekend our state (MA) is slated to get into the mid-to-high 90s. Alerts have been issued, cooling centers open, etc.

I pulled all our shades that get the afternoon sun and shut down lights, will run laundry at night to help conserve energy.

Upper 90s for me.

Just glad we did our trip to Greece in June when it was only upper 80s / low 90s there, not 105 like I've seen lately, with the Acropolis having to be shut down and various parts of the country on fire.

Was thinking about a day-trip to the beach this weekend (closest one is about 2 hours or a little more), but it's too hot even for that. I'll be getting some 5:30am walks in while it's still bearable, and then staying inside.

Western MD here. 91 outside, feels like 100. Tomorrow they say it will be warmer and the heat index will be 110. Too darned hot!

We've broken all heat records all month.
It is supposed to get back to "normal" this weekend. And that is below 110.
I think it was 122 on Monday. Supposed to be 112 today

The weather man says it's 98 but feels like 105....I think he's lying. It's gotta be at least 120 out there. Lucky for me I work in my State's Archives which is set to Arctic Freeze!

High of 113 F here today. 115 on Saturday. It'll dip to a balmy 103 next Tuesday, with a low of 81.

It's actually been downright pleasant the past couple of days, with the heat index staying just below 105. And yes, pleasant is a relative term, only in the sense that it's been marginally less brutal for the first time in over a month. That said, it's heading back up over 110 next week, culminating in 118 on Friday. I am so ready for fall!!
