Weather - this week and next week?

All of the weather forecasts keep calling for continuous rain. How is it down there now and is it raining all day and not at night as that is the forecast for this week and next week. We are coming down on Saturday and will be at VWL for a week. I intend to bring an umbrella but would appreciate any ideas for rainy days.

I've been watching Accuweather.com and it shows nice weather from Nov. 1 onwards.
DH prefers to use a poncho rather than an umbrella; isn't it lucky that we "just happen" to have a bunch............. , and amazingly, they all are WDW-related! Coincidence? I think NOT!

We were down there from the 10-19 and weather.com had forecasted rain showers for every day. We had one shower on the 18th and it was raining lightly at the airport on the 19th. There may have also been a shower overnight one time as there was some standing water on our balcony. Anyway, my point is not to stress too much about it.

I did hear that today was beautiful...more like Fall than it has been.

We live in Central Florida, less than a one-hour drive from WDW. When we watch the Weather Channel, we often see that it should be raining directly over us, and it isn't.
Sometimes it's bright and sunny all day when the TV says it's raining all day. Although we do need the rain,it doesn't rain nearly as much as the WC seems to think it does.
This is a beautiful time of year here - the love bugs are gone, the humidity is low, and the temps are in the high 70's to mid 80's during the day, low 70's at nite - perfect!

I'll be getting to VWL the day you are leaving...I see you are also from IL.
I keep watching the weather too. I'm use to the rain in FL. Seems like everytime we go, it rains..luckily, it's scattered rain.
Oh well...at least it will be warmer than here in IL and it's WDW

We leave a week from tomorrow (11/3) and I have packed shorts and capri pants. Hopefully it stays wasrm and dry. If not..... I also packed the ugly yellow ponchos.
We can change a lot of things in our lives..... the weather isn't one of them!!

We are leaving tonight to go to the Boardwalk. I was stressing about the rainy forecast I seen on weather.com for our entire trip.. Then I thought.. Rain in Disney is better than work any day..
