Weather the week before Christmas

Despite pleasant temperatures during the afternoons, mornings and evenings were quite chilly, requiring coats and mittens.

Yes it did! It was extremely cold. Coming from New England leaving the freezing weather, we were kicking ourselves not being prepared for the bitter weather. We had to put socks on my sons hands for mittens and layer his sweatshirts because we didn't bring a jacket. I do think cold weather makes it feel more like Christmas, but its always better to be prepared. At least I got a beautiful creamed colored Tinkerbell fleece from the cold evenings.
