Weather Question......

We will be making our first ever trip to California in November, we fly in on November 9 and will be going to Disneyland on November 10. We are then boarding the Wonder for a 7 night cruise. We have sailed 6 times out of Canaveral so we are pretty sure what the weather will be like. We are From Pennsylvania so it will be cool to COLD when we leave.

What should I expect as far as weather for our day in the park so I know what to wear?? Also the day we board the ship...dress then?? I am assuming as we cruise it will get warmer the farther south we go so that shouldn't be an issue it is our couple days in CA I am concerned with.

You'll have to check the weather forecast a few days before your trip because Nov weather SoCal is not so predictable that you can plan months in advance. It can be warm to hot or it could be cool and rainy. Strong Santa Ana winds are also possible that time of year.

Sheetz is right. You just never know. Generally, November will be cool, but not cold -- but we had a late summer this year, and I wouldn't be surprised to have the warm weather continue into November. Layers are usually a good idea, and definitely have sweatshirts or jackets in the evening. Even on hot days, it usually cools down at night.

i agree with everyone about the ever changing weather patterns...in CA you cannot predict from year to year what its going to be like..chances are though that since you are from Pennsylvania, you wont think its cold even if we do...so for you I would say bring a jacket and wear layers you can take off or add on throughout the day....are you leaving on your cruise out of Long Beach??? It is usually MUCH cooler there on any given day of the year than inland. so be prepared to wear a jacket and pants and such...depending on where you go in Mexico it will get warmer but all through san diego and baja (through ensenada it will remain cool)
