I'm not sure if this is allowed and if not by all means remove it but I'm sharing a link of this upcoming weather predictions and if I'm reading it correctly it looks like the winter in Florida is going to be warmer, drier and/or milder than average :worship:

We're supposed to visit between 12/17 and 12/23 and I don't mind 70's during the day but seriously was fretting the frigid 30's and 40's because I will have more trouble getting around!! I hope this is right oh and I hope my link works and is okay to post!

dont be freaked its not cold here. well cold to me wont be cold to you. I would suggest bringing a hoody and maybe mittens just in case. you can keep them in your car or rent a locker. we got caught once and we were freezing in the park and left a bit early. the sweatshirts in the parks are $$$ . mostly its not bad kids were swimming in our pool for christmas break!

I have a question about weather:) Looking ahead to next week when we arrive(the 23rd)..the forecast basically says rain and thundershowers for the 1st 5 days we are there:sad2: Now, I'm from Vancouver, BC where we get ALOT of rain, no biggie, we are used to it. But we were hoping to get away from the rain for at least a little while! Does the rain in Orlando last days and days like it does here? Or when the forecast says rain and thunderstorms, are we talking a couple of hrs during the day and then it clears up? I hope so!!:confused3

Pretty much this. There are days occassionally where it rains all day, but a lot of times it will rain for an hour or so, then clear out. Almost every trip I've taken (now up around 10) they have forcast rain most days. However, I've only had to break out the poncho twice. Never fear - you'll likely see some sun!

I live about 30 minutes from the World and my family is arriving on the 23rd as well for our week long Disney vacation. I was sad when I saw the forecast too.

The rain is so scattered and unpredictable. Although it will likely rain on and off it is usually not enough to ruin your vacation. While I am bummed- it should be ok. :thumbsup2

Let's pray and cross our fingers for some sunshine! Maybe the rain will help keep the temperature down. It has been pretty nice lately. :goodvibes
