Weather/Packing tips for March

We're going the first week of March.
Tips? I'm trying to pack light of course.

We are going in March as well. I am packing a couple pairs of shorts for each of us (will do laundry in our townhouse), our Disney shirts i made and then long sleeve t-shirts for each of us to layer under for in the mornings or evenings and then probably a pair of jeans for each of us.

On the weather... We were there last year end of February - first few days of March and it was really quite chilly/cold at night a few days. We had coats and gloves on at night in the parks and hoodies on during morning hours. We did have two days where my kids wore shorts, but my husband and I never did (well I wore crops/capris a few times). I packed a lot of coordinating stuff that I could layer for all of us.. Other people have been there the same time and wore shorts the whole trip, so weather is really luck of the draw that time of year

If you hope to pack light wait for the extended forecast before you start packing! Winter in FL is unpredictable and could be anything from cold enough for jackets to hot enough to be sweating in shorts and tanks (or both in the same trip - we had that in Dec '09 ).

We're going the first week of March too and I'm watching the Accuweather.com 15 day forecast... In 5 more days it'll even extend to the start of our trip!

We went the first week of March 2 years ago, and while the weather was nice, we did wear sweatshirts quite a bit, especially in the evening. I'd bring one for each of you (unless you want to buy one there) and just wash it mid-trip. We did have nice days, though....even relaxed by the pool at the BC. We're going this year at the end of March, so I'm hoping it'll be a bit warmer then. Have fun!!!

we went end of march last year shorts the entire time, high 80's perfect weather!!! you could use a jacket at night.

You really need to watch the forecast. The jet stream is changing and everything is going up in temp. OK was -30 last week and 77* this week. I have been there in Jan. and 80* every day warm nights as NE was in a week long storm pattern.

Another time late Oct 06 and it was 99* for days, the morning we left it was 40*

This year Jeans may be the little used dress item.
