Weather over the grapevine

Anyone know how I can see what the weather is like right now over the grapevine?

I'm driving it this evening.

I found this listing of I5 webcams....the Grapevine is at the bottom of the page

We will check those later. Thanks! We are driving it tomorrow morning. When we came home on Monday (yes, this past monday) it was snowing as we came over the GV, it was gorgeous but I'm so glad I don't like it in that anymore. LOL

I am in Bakersfield, so pretty close to the Grapevine.

It is noon on Friday (38 degrees here according to the news) and the Grapevine is open BUT..... it is raining here and snowing in the mountains (Tehachapi is getting a lot from what people are saying). So do not expect to go over Highway 58 on your way to Disney if they do end up closing the Grapevine (which I think will happen soon). Will try to post information here if I hear they close the Grapevine or start escorting.....

Thanks, I'll check back before we leave. I may just cut over and go 101. Really don't want to as it adds so much more time to the drive. But don't want to be stuck waiting for the Grapevine to open.

We are going to see our cousin play for Stanford Women's Basketball up north (from the OC), and we decided to go the 101 just to be safe.

It is a little after 10 p.m. and raining in Bakersfield. Highway 58 through Tehachapi is closed but the Grapevine is open. The best place to check for roads is:

then click on Bakersfield and it will tell about the roads. By the way, you can use it for any area in California. Tells roads, accidents, closures, etc.
