We're heading to Disney tomorrow morning through next week and the weather shows the highs at about 80 and the lows in the mid 60s. Traveling from a very dry state (humidity is about 33% in our house right now), I can't remember what to pack for these temps in humid weather. I've always thought 80 during the day is hot but 60s seem chilly. Should we wear capris and just suffer through the hotter hours of the day?

Layers. It's going to be cooler in the morning so take a light jacket. You can either tie it around your waist or put it in a locker. I wear capris in the summer so I wouldn't think you'd be too warm in them but I'm from Georgia so anything under 70 is cold to me.

60 in florida feels colder than it does at home (in the midwest) due to the humidity, so I would never do that with shorts. When we went last December we wore capris, it got a little hot at times but never too bad!

Lows of 60's isn't bad. When it's highs of 60's it gets cold after dark. If it was high of 80, I would wear capris or shorts. Maybe change into jeans at night.

The best advice I have is bring options (some refer to it as layers) but I think options is a better description. I'm not really sure what it's going to be like but this week out of almost nowhere there was 2 really humid days that felt like early/end of summer with rain as the summer would have. If the humidity comes back with it, then it'll be like summer temps with colder overnights vs summer. If it's just hotter again then you may not want shorts. It also depends on where your coming from. If your in horribly cold right now, the first few days no matter what the temp is will feel amazing to you but the end of the trip the same weather will start to settle in and you won't be as warm.

I generally go by the rule of bring what I don't want to pay disney prices to buy. I don't need a week of shorts, but a day or two offers the option of shorts for example.

We're getting ready to leave next week, actually this day next week we'll be in Disney! We went this same week last year and the days it was in the high 70's-80's I wore shorts during the day. By the time the sun went down we always changed into jeans and a light jacket. We had a couple really cool nights where I was wearing jeans, two jackets and gloves and was still cold but earlier in the day I was fine wearing a tank top, so once the sun goes down you'll definitely feel cooler.

I've been keeping an eye on the weather and so far it's looking good, some days in the high 70's-80's again so I'm bringing a mix of everything. It's currently only about 20 degrees here now so honestly I'll take anything above 50 degrees!

I am wondering the same thing. I know when I went this time before I was mostly in jeans and long sleeves and that is what I have ready for this time as well. I am not prepared for 80s! I will be hauling a lot of clothes I guess! Looks like we are getting out right before a big snow storm! I told my family, it will be hotter than you think, it will be colder than you think.

Thanks for all the input! I think we'll just go with capri pants to keep from packing our entire closet, and take a warm jacket for the nighttime. These temps will be welcome with the single digits and snow we had in Colorado earlier this week!
