Weather Is A Good Sign..

Looking at the 10-Day weather forecast for Anaheim gives me hope. Temperatures range from 70 - 75 degrees...perfect for this Washingtonian. And no high winds are predicted for Sat. - Nov. 10th...that's when I'm hoping to see the "Remember" fireworks.

Nights are going to be pretty chilly with temps down into the 50s, but I'm used to that. It'll feel just like home.

It's tough getting through these last few days. It seems like I should be doing something, but there really isn't anything I can do until Friday except keep plugging away at those in-baskets at work.

I didn't get very far at work yesterday. Amazing how busy a person can be and still feel like you've accomplished absolutely nothing.

A very strong suggestion to see the fireworks the very first chance you can. They get canceled when you can't even feel a breeze on the ground. It is the wind up above they worry about. If you wait till the middle of your trip there is always a possiblity they will get cancelled the entire rest of the time.

It is better to me to see them the first night, and have them go off every day, than to wait and take a chance of missing them.

Oh, I am so glad to hear about the weather....I hadn't checked the forecast that far out yet!! It should be perfect for my Utah blood too! Not too cold! Our trip begins a few days behind yours.

That's the plan. We arrive this Saturday and plan to see Remember that night. The only other chance we'll have is Sunday, but we're hoping to take in Universal that day. Keeping my fingers crossed for no cancellation on Sat. night.

We bought the last few items needed yesterday. This is my first time travelling alone with the kids as we are meeting dh down there after his conference ends!. Ds 4 got his own carry on that he can manage himself and him and I are going to share a suitcase

The temps look good to me too. 50 degrees is a pretty warm HIGH for our days at this time of year, so we will do just fine. We're hardy canucks! As long as we can wear shorts on a day or two and use the pool we will be in heaven.

We arrive on Saturday as well, though very late at night (after the fireworks). We are hoping for no wind on Sunday, as that will be our only chance to see the Remember fireworks. We're also hoping for no wind on Friday, the 16th, as that will be our only chance to see the Christmas fireworks! That's the trade off for trying to avoid weekend crowds!

Drag n' fly, don't forget your consent letter from DH to travel alone with your children. And those suitcases look awesome!! Which hotel are you staying at?

I just tried to upgrade to concierge level at DLH, with no luck. They say they are completely booked, like EVERY room in the hotel is booked!!

Dh is staying at PP during the conference 11-14th. We (the kids and I) are flying down on the 14th and staying at the Grand Californian. First time onsite. We got spoiled staying onsite at WDW. We booked way back and was able to get the 4th night free with the AMA room only discount. I was going to inquire about paying for the concierge upgrade when we got there; as you mentioned their probably isn't any availability but I will still try. As long as we can wear t-shirts and shorts during the day I will be happy. The recent snow makes the trip that much sweeter! Who does dh work for? You can pm me if you want
