Weather in Texas

We are scheduled to leave for WDW 1/14 at 7:55 am. YAY! However, we just learned that the weather may be bad. Freezing rain or sleet. We have decided to stay the night at the hotel connected to DFW, so we do not have to do the drive if the roads are slick.
I am hoping we take off. I will be so very bummed if the flight is canceled due to weather (I would rather be safe, but still a little bummed).
We tried to change the flight to the day before, but according to AA we would have to cancel out the reservations and re-book. Well, re-booking would cost $3200 plus $400 for changing the reservation!
So, let's all hope that the weather holds out and we are able to take off!

Oye Vey... We are driving into Dallas from Orlando on the 14th... My family all lives out that way. I had no idea that the weather was expected to be bad. I guess I should check the reports a little closer before heading out. Good luck to you, I hope that you are able to get out...and I am able to get in

According to the news today, they said that the rain may end prior to the very cold weather hitting, but then they say that Sunday night in to Monday maybe interesting. They are saying that there is a chance of freezing rain or sleet. So, who knows?!?!
Just make sure you pack warm clothes for your trip to Dallas!
