Weather in October?

We are sailing October 15th (Eastern) this year and as I was reading the boards, something made me wonder what the weather will be like then. I assume it will still be pretty warm?

The weather will still be plenty warm on the eastern in October. I've said before, Sept./Oct. is my favorite time of the year to go. The ships aren't as crowded, the weather and the ocean are still very warm, the days are still long, and best of all, the prices are lower.

We were on the Western Cruise late October last year. The weather was perfect. Warm most days, and Castaway Cay was beautiful - mid 80's and sunny all day --- We have a 4-day Wonder cruise booked for this October. Less crowds, less $, and nice weather. Good time to sail.

We sailed at the end of September/beginning of October both times (2002 and 2004) and it was VERY warm, actually HOT. Especially in Cozumel! Even on days when it was a little windy on deck I considered it a warm breeze. I would think it would be about the same mid-October, or maybe a bit cooler. Hurricanes are the biggest threat that time of year, rather than cool temps! But we always sail in the fall anyway. HTH! Happy Cruising!
