Weather in November

What is the weather like at the end of November? Is the beginning of November better? We won a trip from Alamo and have to pick the dates we want.

Early november is warmer than late november, but it's not too much of a difference. My daughter and I go every year on her birthday, Nov. 13, and it is always a nice warm day, but the nights cool down enough to necessitate a light jacket.

Hmmm...so, is it in the 50's, 60's, or 70's during the day? We'll be there Nov. 20th to the 24th.

It is in the high 60's to mid 80's in November, but with all the crazy rain we have had, I don't know how that will affect the weather this year. California traditionally has very mild winters and the beginning of November is a great time to go, low crowds, short lines for most rides, not sure of the crowds for late November though.

If you go too early in the month, you might not be able to enjoy the Christmas decorations; I think most start going up around Veteran's Day. I'd recommend going later in the month, but avoid Thanksgiving week crowds. You could hit some rain in November, and the likelihood does increase as the month goes on. Generally it doesn't rain too much though until a little later.

Actually, Christmas decorations are up the first weekend of November. IASW Holiday is running and if they're doing the holiday fireworks (which I don't think anyone knows what they're doing with that this year--I prefer the anniversary show) they start that weekend also.

I agree. We went the very beginning of November. One day the park was normal, next day, it was all decorated for Christmas! We were able to go on the opening day of the Holiday IASW and Haunted Mansion Holiday is also up and running (usually it opens earlier in October), so it was a great time for us!

Congratulations! We've had pretty nice weather in early November when we've gone. Hopefully you'll get to stay at the Grand Californian! We won a trip from alamo too so we're heading to WDW since we're already scheduled for Disneyland in November (family reunion). It will be great to see both parks during the 50th celebration.

We were there 1st week of December and it was high 60s in the day, but got cold very fast as soon as the sun went down, so you would need jackets and coast at night.

But make sure you avoid Thanksgiving when crowds can be quite intense - either go before or after this date. And make sure the decorations are up and holiday makeovers of rides completed before you go.
