If any one went to disney world last year mid-may what was the weather like.We are going may 14-21 and were wondering what the weather would be.Some of our friends went about mid-june and said they had to get towels out of their rooms and wet them for their necks it was so hot. Thanks for your time!!!!Nicole:earsgirl:

I would like to know that too! We had to move our Feb trip to Mid-May and I am a bit worried about the heat.

We didn't go last May, but we went the May before. The weather was beautiful. Not too hot, but no where near cold. We swam a few times and DH did jet skis. We even did Blizzard Beach for the first time. It didn't rain much, but we did use our ponchos once or twice.

I was there last May from the 7th thru the 17th. It was
HOT!!! .

I guess it's not always so bad in May but the past two years, going once at the beginning and once in the middle of the month, it's been toasty.

Guess I haven't learned my lesson though... see my countdown timer. :p

We are going that same, exact time 14th-21st. I looked up the average temperature here:

http://www.cityrating.com/citytemperature.asp?City=Orlando

Has it at 76.9, so I was thinking it would be really comfortable. I guess I should have registered that fact that it's just an average for all day, so it could be much hotter at times. I'm glad I read this post so we will be prepared for possible super-hot weather. I will be bummed if it's in the 90s because with the humidity, I bet it will be really uncomfortable. Can anyone give an idea of how long it stays that hot during the day on average?

I've found May to be less humid than we've gone in October, it wasn't as uncomfortable. It starts getting pretty warm by 10:00am, usually until about 6:00pm. The nights cool off. It doesn't get dark that time of year until about 8:30pm.

We are going 14-21 May as well! :) I haven't been to Orlando before, but I read that it might be hot and somewhat humid.. We plan on going to the parks early (I hope it works, we are all owls) and coming back for a nap around lunch when it becomes too hot. Than we'll return to the parks after 4 or so..

We were there the last two Mays (the first and second weeks) and it was pretty hot!! Especially last year, it was almost too hot for me. The crowds weren't bad at all though so we got to spend a lot of time in the air conditioning:)

Last year was unusually hot - record highs! I was dragging by the end of the days!

We've gone the last two Mays (and three out of the last four) and it is normally warm, mid to high 80s.

Two years ago it was pretty warm, low to mid 90s. Last year, however, was very hot, even the locals were talking about it. We hit 100 one day if I recall correctly.

I'm going again this May so it didn't bother me that much.
