I am planning a 4 day family reunion cruise for next December (12/19/04)

How likely is it that the weather will be warm enough for sunning and swimming at the beach in mid December? What is there to do on shore (Nassau, private island) if the weather is cool or rainy?

Addot.....We will also be on the 12/19/04 cruise!! It's going to be a christmas gift to our kids. Do you have any children? I have 2 boys, they will be 9 & 12 then.

I would also like to know how the weather is. We are from PA, so maybe it will feel warm to us.

We will be on that one too! My twin DDs will be 11 at that time. We are anxious to see the ship all decorated for the holidays!

We are hoping the weather is cooler than it usually is when we cruise (in September).

We have been to CC in December twice before and to us the weather was perfect. Of course back home it was snowing and about 20 degrees! The air temp was high seventies I would guess and the water about the same.

Wow

I'm surprised to see so many planning their cruise so far in advance. I guess I'd better look into buying those tickets!

DD's will be 12 and 16. DS will be 17. My sister's kids will be 14, 16, 18, and 20 (quite a crowd).

Being from MI I'm sure it will seem warm, but am hoping that is will be warm enough to swim, tan, etc.
