Weather in late December

What has been your experience with the weather and temperatures in Mid to late December? Is it typically rainy during this time?
I know Orlando is fairly up and down but was just curious!

no very rainy but it will be hotter than you think and colder than you think. We have watched Wished with winter coats, hats and gloves before. For me, layers are important. Sweat shirt in the morning, long sleeved shirt during the day.

Thank You for the reply! We live in Texas so we know the up and down thing well! Haha! I have researched the averages online but nothing compares to peoples experiences!

Once the sun sets it can get a little chilly on some nights. I always bring a pair of decent gloves since the thin ones they sell in the parks don't really help me much. There can really be huge differences day to day, 80's one day, then 50's or 60's the next and even cooler at night. Definitely layers!

I went during the fist week of January this year and it was typically colder in the mornings and of course at night. I would wear a hoodie or light jacket in the morning and sometimes a light scarf and have to take off the scarf during the day and unzip the hoodie and roll my sleeves up or put the hoodie in my bag. I also wore skinny jeans pretty much the entire trip. One night was very cold and I had to layer the hoodie underneath my light jacket and scarf and I was still cold. Our last day was supppper hot and I was regretting wearing jeans. It also never rained while we were there and wasn't as humid.

I would say pack for anything because the weather really seemed to fluctuate. Bring layers and a bag or something to put them in.

Generally no rain. And usually the temps will still be pretty warm. This past Christmas it was in the 80's. However it can get really cold. Couple years ago in mid December we were playing Winterland golf course when it was in the 40's at night.

I always plan for shorts and shirts. But I always hope for cold weather. So it could go either way and you won't know until much closer

Last winter had record warmth in December. But as the others have said it varies widely.
Layers are your friend.,
