Weather in late December?

My friends have just got engaged, and want a disney wedding in mid/late December...and were wondering what the weather would be like?...is it likely to be quite warm?.

We went the second week of December in 2001 and it was mid 70's and sunny the whole week. Then we went the second week of December 2005 and it was lower to mid 50's the whole week and rained a couple of days. We went this year the week after Thanksgiving leading into the first week of December and it was lower to mid 80's and rained a few days but was sunny most of the time and quite warm and humid. It's really hit or miss in December.

We just returned on the 23rd from our wedding week. The weather was perfect!! Every day, the weather was at least 80. We only had one day of rain - Friday night, which I was pretty upset about. But we couldn't have asked for better weather...

We also went to Disney last year in December - but that was a completely different story !! We went from Nov 29 to Dec 4 and the weather was horrible. During the day, the high was only 55 all week!!

So, it is really unpredictable. But, I can tell you that your friend couldn't pick a more beautiful time of the year to get married in Disney. The Christmas decorations were just beautiful!!!

I'd definitely recommennd Disney weddings in December for the Christmas decorations alone. I've visited the area in December, and the weather can be all over the place! I've been to Disney itself the week of Thanksgiving, and the weather was in the 70s and 80s except for the last two days, when it was about 50 degrees! Brrr!

We had our wedding on December 5th and it was great! It was sunny with clear skys and a nice warm temp - not to hot or too cold! It got a little chilly in the evening at our dessert party but everyone was ok with just lightweight jackets and wraps etc.
