Weather in June? What can I expect?

Haven't been to WDW in June in years, back then it was not too hot and rained once a day for 15 minutes.

Anyone been there last June and could give me an idea of what type of weather I can expect. I know it will be hot, but 90 degrees or 110 degrees?? Rainy??

We're going June 12th (my birthday! ) to June 21.

Just really concerned with the little ones. Need to overplan nowadays!

It's hot, very hot and very humid. We've been the second week of June a couple of times. The first time was for our honeymoon in '91, and though it was hot we had a great time, as the crowds were low. Then we went again in June '05 and it was crowded!! I couldn't believe how crowded it was.

Your best bet is to hit the parks right at opening, then go back to your room around lunch, nap, swim, just take it easy during the hottest part of the day. A lot of times a thunderstorm will roll through in the afternoon also. Then go back to the parks after the sun goes down. Drink lots of water and just don't overdo. Enjoy what you can without running yourself ragged and you'll be fine. Have fun!

We were there June 10-19th. It was very hot & humid (mid/upper 90's to 100 not including heat index )
Rain was the same as I've always seen it in the summer, usually between 3pm-5pm it would rain/storm (but not for the whole time) We did have some severe storms that came through, with large hail, lot's of lightening & thunder.

It was rough, but we're going back this year from the 8th-18th

Last year we went from June 3-12. It was really crowded, more so than I was expecting. Weather was touch and go -- generally nice and hot, but we did experience 2 different severe storms with large hail and lots of lightening. And those 2 storms did not move through quickly -- they lingered to the point where we took shelter in our room. Other than that, we enjoyed being in Disney in June and had pleasant weather for the other days during our trip.

Have only been in June once, back in 03 when we got married...skies can look menacing, but then only a little drizzle. Thats what happend to us, WHILE we were getting married...almost moved our ceremony indoors!

Hot, humid....but we all survivedIt was late June.....

Breezy in June?? Do the kids need sweaters?? Never thought of packing sweaters or wind-breakers will we need them???

No matter what month we go to Disney, we normally do take a neutral sweater to go with all their outfits, plus raincoats too. The sweaters are sometimes just utilized for heavy air-conditioned restaurants.

While it may sometimes happen that it only rains for fifteen minutes and then passes, we've encountered very rainy weather in June. One trip we had two completely rainy days (all day). And when it isn't raining, its hot. You do not need sweaters for the evening in my experience.

We were there last June 6/27 - 7/2. It was very hot, very humid and rained at some point almost every day, if not every day. The rain didn't last long though. Did I mention it was hot? Very hot? LOL

We never needed any kind of jacket or sweater. It was hot when we went out in the mornings (usually around 7:30 or so) and it was hot when we came home at night (11:00 - 12:00).

We went swimming almost every night from 11pm till at least midnight. Weather was perfect then!
