weather in early may - what's it like?

We just booked our first trip with our girls for the first weekend in May.

For those that have been at that time, what is the weather like?

Weather in early May is usually excellent. We've been at WDW then probably every year for the last 15 or more. Usually rain is not a problem (the wet season starts a bit later) and temps are usually in the 80's.

We experienced high 80s with no humidity, 90s with humidity and 80s with humidity and one day of rain on our various trips.

But, overall, it was great weather and definitely warm enough for the pool but never too warm where I was miserable.

THis past May it was HOT 90 plus degrees!

I was there the first week of May in 09 and the weather was great, it was pretty hot but definitly not miserable like the summer and we did not see any rain. Looks like we will be there around the same time

We went late July early August 2010 and I thought I was going to die!! I'm from south MS and used to the heat/humidity but was still miserable. We went again the first week of May of this year and it was MUCH better. Still hot enough in the afternoons to want to do indoor rides but WAY cooler than the middle of the summer trip. We really enjoyed it. Plus it was the beginning of the Flower/Garden Fest and it was really awesome

We were there the first week of May this year and the weather was very doable. Hot, yes ...but not so much that it was disgusting. Our boys used their misting fans and all was good! And we only had one brief rain in the morning before we even headed to the park. :thumbsup:
