Weather in December??

We are going in December. I realize that each year may be different, but I am wondering what most people experience.

We were there last year Dec 15-22. Every day was in the 80s and sunny. It was an amazing weather week! I have heard that same time frame others have been in layers and coats and gloves! But not us, we swam, wore shorts by day and capris by night. It really was perfect!

We were there Dec. 10th to 17th 2005 and it was cool at night. During the day you might have been able to wear a t- shirt but nights were long sleeves, pants and some had jackets on.

We're going 12/7-15 and from the many posts I've read - we're going to need to be ready for everything but snow! We're packing swimsuits, shorts, jeans, jackets, hats, gloves and even long johns for my Mom.

Overpacking is already a problem in my family. I'm going to have to be the suitcase "hardcase" and remind everyone that I can do laundry if necessary.

We were there Dec 27-Jan 4. One day DM was in shorts & a tank top, the next I bought her a fleece jacket because it was so cold. Nights can be chilly.

Think LAYERS.You can always get rid of that 2nd TShirt if it's too hot.

We were there last December. Shorts and t-shirts during the day. Jackets or sweathsirts at night.

we were there last dec 16th -22nd and df wore shorts and tee shirt every day while I wore jeans and tees/tanks every day (i get cold easily from ducking in and out of the a/c but at night it was a little more chilly...i wore thin layers (ex. tank top, tee shirt and long sleeve tee then peeled the layers throughout the day and stored a jacket in the locker for nightfall.) we're going back this dec 22nd-30th and hoping for beautiful weather once again. have fun!
